PAD’s NDT operations are FAA-certified and fully integrated within our internal quality and program management systems. As part of our vertically integrated offering, NDT is not an outsourced activity but a core in-house capability that supports manufacturing, MRO, and field service operations. Our experienced inspectors and Level III personnel provide both in-process and final inspections for critical aerospace and defense components.

Modalities Supported

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)

Water-washable and post-emulsifiable processes for both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys

Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)

Wet and dry method inspections using portable and stationary equipment for surface and near-surface discontinuities

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Thickness measurement, flaw detection, and weld inspection using conventional and phased-array techniques

Eddy Current Testing (ET)

Surface crack detection and conductivity testing for heat treat and material sorting

Visual & Borescope Inspections (VT)

Detailed inspections of internal features, surface finish, and assembly verification

Radiographic Testing (RT)

Through NADCAP-approved partnerships and managed under our internal quality procedures

Integration Within PAD
NDT is coordinated directly with PAD’s machining, engineering, and assembly operations. This reduces turnaround time, improves defect detection during early-stage processing, and ensures compliance without the delays and risks associated with third-party inspection shops. All NDT findings are documented, reviewed by our Quality department, and integrated into the customer’s reporting protocols.
